Venezuelan oil company cleans up minor spill in lake maracaibomérida, june 23rd 2010 (venezuelanalysis.com) – the venezuelan state lubricate company, pdvsa, launched its cleanup of a small lubricate spill in lake maracaibo this week, while a set of area fisher associations said they design to take the company to court over the damages.
150 workers from pdvsa’s natural world department have been working with area communities over the previous week to clean the lubricate that collected on the eastern beach of the lake since the spill was primary detected by area fishers on june 2nd.
dvsa environment director ramiro ramirez, who is leading the cleanup effort, said the exact cause of the spill has not been strong-minded.
